We specially designed this program for you who not yet have the diving certification to have a chance to visit, to experience and to enjoy the beauty of underwater Bunaken as well as to find whether you able or like scuba diving. The whole program will be directly supervised and guided by Bastianos dive experts who make this experienced program safe and easy.
First you will be given a detail briefing about the equipment and some basic scuba skills which are necessary for you to know such as breathing underwater with scuba, how to clear your mask from water underwater, how to clear your regulator (the device to deliver air to your mouth), how to equalize the pressure at your ears & sinuses and how to control your balance underwater. Then we will bring you to shallow water in a lagoon, which have some part that you can stand-up and practice the basic skills. Once you are comfortable with these skills, you are ready to dive the real reef of Bunaken under direct supervision of Bastianos dive crew to depth of 10 meters or less, based on your comfort.
After experiencing and enjoying the dive, you are ready and have confidence to go for the next step to earn your diving certification!
