Little Jorunna

The Little Jorunna (Jorunna Parva)

The Little Jorunna (Jorunna parva) may be tiny—growing up to just 2 cm in length—but it’s full of fascinating details. One of its most distinctive features is the presence of sensory tubercles, each surrounded by fine, sharp spicules known as spiculae. These tubercles, called caryophyllidia, are a hallmark of this unique nudibranch family.
